Marcum about WV Transportation….Bridging History at Blennerhassett Island about the new bridge, The Road to Opportunity about the WV Turnpike and a Film about Huntington Trolleys. All Three Films will be shown on Saturday with Admission set at $4.00

Sun. 17 Charleston based arts groups are collaborating to present a Haitian benefit concert at the Clay Center at 4 pm. Tickets are $15 for Adults and $10 for Children. …this is a FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT which features each group presenting a vignette of their programs.

Saturday April 3 the Bunny Hop 5 can 5 k Eagle Scout project of Marshall Sharp. It’s a 5 k road race and walk at Stonewall Jackson Middle school….sign up on line at V100.fm. Cost is $15 plus 5 cans of food if registered before March 15th. $20 after March 15th and on Race day. Canned food donations can be dropped off at Stonewall Jackson Middle School, the Mountain Mission or Emmanuel Baptist Church.
A Responsible Gardening Seminar on Saturday march 20th at First Presbyterian Church (Leon Sullivan Way) Three Sessions at 9 am edible landscaping with WVU Extension Agent John Porter. At 10am Extend Growing Season with Dr. Douglas Jolley, and at 11 am Lawn and Grass Alternatives with Alexandrea Straight…WVU extension Agent This event is a community service sponsored by Kanawha county’ master gardener association.
